While I was at Meijer today (Ontario, Ohio), Ken (the meat man!!) pointed out to me that they have the ground chuck for $1.69 a lb!! Needless to say I was quite excited and purchased several packages! Apparently, this is the left overs from the sale that they had for $1.99 last week. It looks like it is first come first serve but it seemed to me like they had a ton!!

Thanks much for the "heads up" on the ground chuck. When I went shopping Saturday evening, they still had quite a few pkgs left (shocked!) and it is such a great deal! I bought 4 pkgs, brought them home and divided them up into 10-1 lb (or so) pkgs, wrapped & put in the freezer. Our kids are grown & gone, so this was a GREAT deal to stock us up on for summer grilling!! Thanks again...and BTW, I told my daughter about the class you did at our church. She lives in TN and yesterday she got $130 worth of products @ CVS for $40.00!!! You have really started something in our family!!! Haha!!
